iAnna
Motion Graphics - Title sequence Design

Brief
The 'Screen Design - Motion Graphics' module I undertook during my first year of university required us to produce a 20 second title sequence, in response to the short story 'iAnna' by author Will Self, through the adaptation of the written text for a forthcoming TV series.
We had to include the title of the short story, 'iAnna', in the final outcome, and the main aim was to design a visually dynamic title sequence that imaginatively interpreted key research findings, insights, and themes we identified in the short story.
Through my research of the themes in 'iAnna' and visual research of existing title sequences, I decided to create a kinetic type-based title sequence, focusing on only the word 'iAnna' itself and hologram-like screens, with the aim of focusing on the main character and conveying how she saw the world around her.

As practice for producing the final title sequence, I created the simple animation on the left to ensure I fully understood what elements to include in the final product, as well as the stages required to create them.
